Mission:

The Mission of the Office of Project Excellence (OPE) is to unite all city projects under the portfolio concept and align them with the vision and long term strategy of the city.  Most importantly it is our goal to provide real-time communication, customer service and access to information. 

The six core themes of our strategy are:

• Innovative Service Delivery
• Transparency
• Sustainability
• Re-imagined Quality of Life
  

By bringing all City projects under one umbrella the OPE seeks to achieve:

• Improved quality of project deliverables
• Proactive management of project issues/risks
• Better containment of project scope
• More transparent use of City resources
• Timelier communication with stakeholders
• Leverage and maximize every dollar appropriated by the residents and taxpayers of Danbury
